Pedro Carmo is playing Pedro in Mickaël de Oliveira's play The Constitution. Translated by Maria Inês Marques and Directed by Jill DeArmon at UNDER St. Marks, the play is a project of Saudade Theatre, a Portuguese theatre company based in New York.
Four actors, heroes of a new society, are invited by the government to write a new Constitution. Sequestered in a small theatre. Six days. No experience in the matter. A perfect Constitution for an imperfect nation.
